An Umrah visa is a special permit issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, allowing Muslims to travel for the non-mandatory pilgrimage of Umrah. Unlike the Hajj visa, which is specific to the Hajj season, the Umrah visa is available year-round, except during the Hajj period.

Muslim travelers from countries eligible for the Saudi e-Visa can apply online. Others must apply through authorized agents. Applicants should be at least 18 years old and meet specific health and documentation requirements.

As of June 10, 2025, all Umrah pilgrims must have:

  • Confirmed hotel accommodations

     

  • Verified local transportation arrangements

     

  • Return flight bookings

These bookings must be made through the official Nusuk platform or authorized travel agents before applying for the visa.

  • For eligible countries: Apply online via the Nusuk platform or the official Saudi visa portal.
  • For others: Contact an authorized travel agency accredited by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah
  • Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity)

  • Recent passport-sized photograph

  • Confirmed hotel and transportation bookings

  • Return flight tickets

  • For women: If traveling without a Mahram (male guardian), they must be part of an organized group and have permission from their husband or father.
